What is the difference between polypropylene and ETFE cable ties?

Conventional acid-resistant cable ties are made of polypropylene. The material is resistant to most inorganic acids (e. g. hydrochloric acid and sulphuric acid), alkalis and salts. ETFE (ethylene tetrafluoroethylene), also known by the brand name Tefzel®, is, by contrast, a high-performance plastic developed for extreme conditions. ETFE cable ties can withstand even aggressive acids and highly concentrated chemicals. Furthermore, these cable ties are resistant to temperatures ranging from –40 °C to 170 °C.
